Adopt a Family of Marin | Volkswagen Marin Backback & Book Drive
This year, we're partnering with Adopt a Family of Marin to collect backpacks, books and school supplies for the less fortunate children of Marin.
Our goal this year is to collect over 400 backpacks to really make a lasting impact for the children of Marin.
Our collection will start May 15 and end June 16.
So head down to Volkswagen Marin at 720 Francisco Blvd W., San Rafael, CA 94901 to help us in our mission to continually help our community.

Petaluma's Butter and Egg Days
We're very proud to once again be apart of Petaluma's Butter & Egg Days event. This two day event showcases the businesses that continue to share their creativity, passion and business-mindedness with the community. These organizations include agricultural producers, manufacturers, breweries, distilleries, wineries, food producers, and non-profits.
So come out for two days of food, festivities, and a parade. We look forward to seeing everyone out there!

Adopt a Family of Marin.
This year Volkswagen Marin has focused on building a stronger community, and we are extremely satisfied with what he have accomplished so far. None of this would be possible without the help of our customers, so we are extremely thankful.
Adopt A Family is an integral part of the circle of protection for struggling families in our community. Our mission and actions are focused on increasing the stability of individual families.
Circulo de Vida
We had the opportunity to contribute to Circulo de Vida's Holiday Party and bring a smile to these kids.
Circulo de Vida offers assistance to parents who are suffering from a terminal illness by providing them guidance and emotional support to them and their families.
Thank you Mario Morquecho and Conny Pardo for letting us be a part of a great cause.

Homeward Bound of Marin
Homeward Bound of Marin is the primary provider of Marin County homeless shelters and services for homeless families and individuals in Marin.
This holiday season we will be donating $50 per every vehicle sold in efforts to reach our $3000 donation goal.
We invite you to visit hbofm.org or share this video with someone who might want to contribute, or is in need of their services.
Helping Fire Victims
3 members of our staff members decided to collect needed items for those affected by the fires in the Chico area. With the help of other staff and customers we were able to fill 3 SUVs with food, towels, blankets and other items which were delivered directly to the victims.

Living Dying Project - Marin County
Cancer is no stranger to any of us - it has affected many of our friends, family members and co-workers. It is one of the causes for which Volkswagen Marin has tried to raise awareness throughout the year.
This month we have partnered with the Living/Dying Project to honor those who passed and those who are going through difficult times.
"The core work of the Living/Dying Project is about healing:
healing our body, our mind, and our spirit, healing that is inspired and motivated by the preciousness of human life itself and by the fact that we will all die but we do not know when."
We hope to raise awareness and funds for the Living/Dying Project to keep it moving forward. Sonnen Motorcars will make a donation to the organization for every car, new or used, that is sold throughout the month.

1st Annual Sonnen VW Chili Cook-off
From Buffalo chili to vegan chili, our staff delighted their co-workers and customers with a large selection of home made chili. The winner of our Chili cook-off contest does not only receive a gift card, they will receive the bragging rights of being the Chili King/ Queen.
